Federal Funds for Organic Growers

Florida Organic Growers is accepting applications to receive cost-share reimbursements from the 2008 Farm Bill.  The deadline to apply is October 15, 2011.  Funds will be allotted on a first-come, first -served basis.  More information is found at the Florida Organic Growers website.

Reward for Panther Information

A Florida panther was found dead in Golden Gate in February.  A reward of $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the animal’s killer.
