As part of the NRCS mission to target cost-share assistance to the priority natural resource concerns in Collier County, a Local Working Group is convened annually to address the issues. The next brief meeting is scheduled for August 18, 2011 at the Collier Soil and Water Conservation District at 9:00 AM. The address is 14700 Immokalee Road, Naples, FL 34120. The meeting will be held in the Institute of Food and Agricultural Science conference room and will be let by the Collier Soil & Water Conservation District.

The South Florida Water Management District’s Water Savings Incentive Program (WaterSIP) provides support for water-conserving technology. The application period is August 8th until September 7th.
